Relax in a rocker on the front porch or nap in the hammock (seasonal) in the front yard.  The gently sloping hill overlooks the valley below.  The home is located on 31 fenced acres which you are free to roam.

Located just six miles east of Fredericksburg, Texas, and built like a German Sunday house, Longhill has all the modern conveniences for you to enjoy, including central air and heat, ceiling fans, phone, and a full kitchen. Longhill Guesthouse sleeps 4 with a kingsize bed and trundle beds. The bath has a tub shower

The Longhorns, Gussie and Storm are full-time hosts at Longhill and will greet you in a real Texas style.  Please do not feed them or they will not stay off the front porch.  They are friendly, but because of their size, it is best to keep your distance.

Inside the Longhill guesthouse, antiques and modern conveniences mix with the country decor.  Downstairs is a large living room with a two story ceiling.  It is sunny and bright with wood floors and large windows offering a spectacular view.  Upstairs is a cozy bedroom with a king-size bed.

Deer, squirrels, rabbits, and armadillos are frequently spotted along with a fox and many varieties of birds.  All seasons offer many beautiful sights.  The Wildseed Farm and Fredericksburg Trade Days are only one mile from Longhill Guesthouse.

Luckenbach, with its famous dancehall, is just over the hill.

 

 

Coffee, teas, milk and juice, along with coffee cake, cereal and snacks are there for you.  Children are allowed, but we request you do not smoke, bring pets, or firearms.

 

          Rates are US $115.00 for one or two people per night

                 with US$ 20.00 extra per addition person per night.
